I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Sociology, University of Haifa. My main interests are economic sociology, social network analysis, and Internet studies. I seek to understand how social structure shapes economic behaviour, and how relational patterns affect exchange and social interaction. In various studies I have investigated inter-relations among producers, nations, and organisations, as well as the impact of offline and online ties on communicative behaviour. My recent research is on online currencies, folk theories of economics, and algorithmic regulation.
